  • Supplier Introduction:

Shipton Mill started in 1979 to mill flours from the most fantastic grains, working with like-minded farmers who promote biodiversity and who value and seek to look after the soil.

  • Sustainable Practices:

Farmers whose grains speak of the soil and climate they were grown in, and a particular place and time. It is up to them to then capture and distil these flavours from the grain into flour through there precise and expert milling processes.

  • Supplier Introduction:

They have an enviable reputation for supplying high quality and innovative Wild Game, which is supplied throughout the country and found in many of the top Michelin starred restaurants. They also export abroad, where prime British Wild Game is seen as a valued product both on the Continent, the Middle East and indeed the Far East.

  • Sustainable Practices:

Wild Game comes in many forms – be it fur or feather. Essentially it has either flown or run and is “harvested” in the wild either from our supplying shoots or in the form of necessary culling for Deer and Wild Boar. There are no longer any natural prime predators here in the UK, since the extinction of both the European Lynx, Bear and Wolf.
